Preliminary Abstract – Updates with all recorded documents on a specific parcel of land since last certification.
Final Abstract – Follows a preliminary abstract by updating abstract with the newest documents recorded after a land transaction. This normally includes a deed, a mortgage if appropriate, assignment or release of prior mortgage.
Root of Title Abstract – Creates a new abstract for a specific parcel of land. Comprised of documents for the most recent forty (40) years according to the Marketable Title Act Standards.
Stub Abstract – A compilation of documents filed for a specific parcel of land from a specifically requested date, to the date of certification.
Master Abstract – The original abstract used for a new subdivision.
